The US-based professional services and investment management firm, JLL, has released its latest Sustainability Highlights Report.

The report highlights the company’s achievements made last year towards meeting its 2020 sustainability targets, outlined in its “Building a Better Tomorrow” strategy.

In the plan, JLL has committed to reduce its plastic usage and paper consumtion, support homelessness charities, and establish the first circular economy targets for the sector.

The report notes that JLL has succeeded in reducing energy consumption by 30% and avoided more than 1mn single-use plastics in its offices.

The firm has had 8,500 clients and stakeholders engage with it Transforming Real Estate initiative, whilst also ranking the highest in Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index in its industry.
