Amusement park to be revived in Dubai through the construction boom
Scheduled to begin this year, another new amusement park is set to be developed in Dubai to cater towards the tourism market and ensure continued economic growth.
The new amusement park will take three years to complete in several phases, and will incorporate a number of retail facilities, restaurants, cafes and shops, alongside a cultural centre and residential apartments.
Companies attached to the project are yet to be confirmed, but the redevelopment of the previous amusement park, titled ‘Wonderland’, will incorporate world-class technological innovations to ensure a memorable experience for all who visit.
With an increased focus on driving tourism into the region through construction a large number of amusement parks, water parks and entertainment venues, Dubai has become a hotbed which will rival powerhouses Universal Studios and Disneyland to become the frontrunner within the industry.
Hayssam El Masri, CEO of Ento Capital, licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) commented: “The project will be one of the most attractive entertainment destinations in the region, attracting visitors from all over the world and enhancing the status of the emirate on the world’s map of leading entertainment centres.”
