Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, has announced that its 50:50 Far East joint venture, Gammon Construction, has been appointed by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) as the management contractor to oversee completion of the M+ project - a museum for visual culture - in Hong Kong.
To ensure safe and efficient project delivery, Gammon will employ advanced technologies such as Building Information Modelling, 3D scanning, and radio-frequency identification technologies and will also adopt design for manufacture and assembly methods during the course of the construction programme.

Construction will commence shortly with completion expected by the end of 2019.
