Skanska has booked an additional order with an existing client for improvements to their corporate office in the western USA. 

The company stated: “The incremental contract with our joint venture of Skanska Balfour Beatty is worth $102.2 million; Skanska’s contract value is $51.1 million which will be included in the US order bookings for the second quarter 2019. Construction is underway.”

Meanwhile, the company has also signed a contract to build a new data facility in the western USA worth $69mn which will be included in the US order bookings for the second quarter 2019. Work began in June 2019 and is scheduled for completion by February 2020.
